TRIAL AND PERFORMANCE JUDGE - USCA JUDGE HEIDI THEIS
Heidi Theis has been breeding German Shepherd Dogs under the kennel name vom Theishof for 31 years. Heidi is a breeder that places heavy emphasis on correctly balanced temperament, strong nerve, obedience talent, and natural working drives. Most females that Heidi has used or uses for mothers are shown, handled, Breed Surveyed, and titled by Heidi to SchH/IPO/IGP 3 level. Heidi’s breeding philosophy is to breed a German Shepherd Dog of normal temperament and of middle ground, as the breed was intended. As the National Breed Warden and PNW Regional Breed Warden, Heidi serves USCA as the Chair of the Breed Advisory Committee. Heidi has also handled dogs for several of USCA’s current and past performance and conformation judges. The judges she has handled for are Karen MacIntyre, at the National Level, Johannes Grewe and Ricardo Carbajal, at the National, Regional, & Local levels, and Craig Groh, at the Regional & Local levels. Heidi is more than happy to help share her handling knowledge and has even been known to take a pause while judging, just to help show a handler how to alter something to help teach the handler who may appear to be struggling.
