About Trainers and Club Members:
Our club is composed of members with extensive experience in Schutzhund and protection dog training, from handlers who compete or have competed at high levels of competition in Germany and in the USA to new handlers looking to title their first dog.
The Training in this Club is lead at the high standards and extensive experience by our two German Shepherd Breeder and trainers from Germany, including our Training Director with over 30 years of experience.
We work hard to ensure our members achieve their titles and compete with their dogs to the best of their abilities.
We are an ALL BREED CLUB and happy to have multiple working Breeds.
Our Head Trainers
Markus and Rossi are Regional and National IGP Competitor with their own bred dogs.
Rossi won the IGP2 Championship in 2019 with her young dog Alpha (BHOT) and one year later she was IGP2 Vice Champion with Alphas brother Ajax (BHOT). 2021 Rossi And Ajax made it 3. Place on the NW Regional IGP Championship.
Rossi earned her USCA SPORTS MEDAL IN Bronze, Silver and GOLD!
Their training method is positive and based on positive reinforcement (fair and humane and reward-based treatment of the dog).
Handlers are encouraged to clearly instruct their dogs in the individual exercises and to quickly reward the desired behavior.
Our goal is to help you and your dog achieve the highest Level you are both capable of attaining and develop a working relationship in a positive manner.
Our Club Members
As a Club we strive for function through Teamwork. As a member of that team, we expect you to learn through observation and participation.
We are also here to interest and educate the public about dog sports, working dogs and the German Shepherd
We support the use of dogs by police departments.
